Światek Dominika
Dominika Świątek – singer, composer, Polish philologist. Interpreter of poetic song. Music director of the Hybrydy Theatre of the University of Warsaw. Awarded with the medal of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage MERIT FOR POLISH CULTURE.
She composes music to the poems of Polish poets. She has released three albums with her compositions: to the poems of Zbigniew Herbert (“Siódmy anioł” under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage), Juliusz Słowacki (“Proroctwo” under the patronage of the Senate of the Republic of Poland) and a contemporary poet – Jerzy Hajduga (“Coraz ciszej”).
She is the author of music for the following theatre performances: “Mandelstam” based on the poetry of Osip Mandelstam and “Ginczanka” based on the poetry of Zuzanna Ginczanka (presented at the Jewish Theatre in Warsaw), “Gonimy że żywy” based on the work of Czesław Miłosz, produced by the Hybrydy Theatre, and “Czas śpiewau kobiety” based on the work of Marlena Zynger.
