Villas Violetta

Violetta Villas (* June 10, 1938 Heusy- † December 5, 2011 Lewin Kłodzki) an icon of the Polish stage scene. Opera and operetta singer. theater, film and revue actress. Songwriter and composer. She had an expanded coloratura voice. She had absolute hearing, played the piano, violin and trombone. She was fluent in several languages. Songs for Villas were composed by composers such as Władysław Szpilman, Bogusław Klimczuk, Zbigniew Ciechan and Wojciech Kilar.
