Paris Salomea

Salomea Paris (* 1800- †? Warsaw)

Coming from the aristocratic family of Salomea Paris, she was a pupil of Maria Czartoryska Wirtemberska. From childhood, she showed musical talent. As a teenager in her teens, she composed songs that she sang herself. She also played piano and harp. In 1822 she gave a concert with her own compositions. She was the author of the music to the songs “Kazimierz Wielki”, “Zygmunt the First” and “Prince Konstanty Ostrogski” from the collection “Historical Songs” by Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz
