Murio-Celli d’Elpeux Adelina

Adelina Murio-Celli d’Elpeux (* 1844 Wrocław – † April 10, 1900 New York) Polish opera singer, teacher and composer, coming from a French-Russian family. As a singer at the age of 15, she successfully toured many European cities. She has lived in France, Mexico and Cuba. Towards the end of her life, she moved to New York and stayed there until her death. She has educated many excellent singers. Her composing oeuvre mainly includes vocal works.
