Ludwika Jędrzejewiczowa (* 6.IV. 1807 Warsaw – † 29.X. 1855 Warsaw) Polish composer and writer, the oldest sister of Fryderyk Chopin. Like her famous brother, she was a music student of Wojciech Żywny. Author of several mazurkas, which, however, have not survived. Chopin wrote about one of them in a letter to Jan Białobłocki: “Ludwika made a perfect mazurka, which Warsaw did not ever dance”.
She is buried at the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw.
