Folman Lola
Lola Folman (* June 16, 1912- † October 1, 1979 New York) folk singer and composer. She was a member of the Folk Choir under the direction of Mosze Szneur in Warsaw. She also gained popularity as a soloist. In the 1930s, she performed in revue theaters, incl. at the Nowości Theater, as well as at concerts dedicated to the Jewish folk song. She also recorded albums on the Syrena – Elektro label. Shortly after the war, she found herself in a refugee camp in Germany, and from there she left for the United States. She was active in New York until the end of her life.
