Długoszewski Lucia

Lucia Długoszewski (* June 16, 1925 Detroit – † April 11, 2000 New York) is an American composer of Polish origin, poet, and choreographer. A visionary of new sound spaces, the creator of around 100 unconventional prepared instruments used in her work. She wrote instrumental, vocal, chamber and film music. She also created choreography for dancers such as Mikhail Baryshnikov. She was one of the most recognized composers in America.
