Burzyńska Nikolet

Nikolet Burzyńska (* July 29, 1989 Katowice-), a violinist, composer and arranger, educated in Warsaw, and later in France as part of the Erasmus scholarship in Mark Andre’s composition class. Winner of numerous awards at composition competitions. Nikolet Burzyńska received orders from, among others, Hilary Hahn, Catherine Bolzinger and “Voix de Strass”, by the Children’s Art Center in Poznań. Despite her young age, she created many compositions. Among them there are pieces for: solo instruments, chamber ensembles, chamber and symphonic orchestras as well as electronic and electro-acoustic pieces, compositions for image and contemporary dance. In 2010, she became a member of the Young Circle of the Polish Composers ‘Union, where she served as a member of its Management Board since 2012, and in 2011 she became a member of the “L’état latent” composers’ association.
