Zawadzka Barbara

Zawadzka Barbara (* 21. IX. 1951 Warsaw-) pianist and composer. Lecturer at the Academy of Music in Krakow, where she graduated from Krzysztof Penderecki’s composition class. She participated in many festivals in Poland and abroad with her compositions. I write music for theatre, radio and film.

She has been awarded many times for her compositions, incl. for Motif of Space for 9 Violins (1977), for which she received the 1st prize at the National Competition for Composers.
