Pliszko- Ranuszewiczowa Katarzyna

Katarzyna Pliszko-Ranuszewiczowa (*1871 St. Petersburg-†1930 Vilnius) composer, pianist and teacher. In the years 1923-1930 she taught theoretical subjects (solfege, counterpoint, symphonic forms and instrumentation) at the Vilnius Conservatory. She also taught a piano class. Her students in the theory class included: Feliks Bukowicz and Lejzer Baran. She composed the cantata “Paradise” and several mixed quartets (preserved in manuscript)
